UPDATE: Service Pack 11.51 has been superseded by Service Pack 11.52.
Service Packs are cumulative, so there is no need to install SP 11.51.
HP UFT Service Pack 11.51 (UFT_00001), which applies to HP UFT 11.50, was released on 01/29/13. To download the service pack, visit the HP software patches support website (KM00337418).

Recently at one of our clients, they had an issue with not being able to capture text with the ctrx_get_text function using the 64-Bit version of the Citrix Agent for LoadRunner 11.  Read the steps here that finally fixed the issue for them. This is based on XenApp 6.5.  The client was running Windows 2008 RS SP1. This resolution references Win2008R2, but it still worked. Notice it is for version 11 Patch 2 of the Citrix Agent (not Patch 2 of LoadRunner as a whole). Patch 3 version of the Citrix agent had issues with the Read Entire Entry

Web/AJAX Protocol:

KM840444 – Using the Web HTTP/HTML protocol in LoadRunner 9.51 or 9.52, after recording the business process the body portion is missing in the web_custom_request when the script is generated. No error message is displayed in the log files, either during record or replay.

For example, with LR 9.50 the recording of an HTTP POST request to a SAP server generates the following web_custom_request code:

LoadRunner 9.52 is mostly bug fixes, but I wanted to key in what’s new with it:

Flex Protocol Enhancements. Improved support of externalizable objects and general protocol usability. Updated user interface for Recording Options and Run-Time Settings (Flex > Externalizable Objects node). Added Code Generation Errors dialog box that displays details about errors, as well as recommended actions.

Those of you using SiteScope 9.5 and only being able to get a single days worth of data, we have found a solution: Apply patch 9.5.4 on top of 9.5 (you don’t have to apply any previous patches – you can go straight to it). The steps to install the patch are as follows:

Stop the SiteScope service.
Perform a full back up (not mandatory).
Run the patch.
Start the SiteScope service

If you apply this patch and using Web Scripts in SiteScope and are having a problem opening the logs for SiteScope, this is a known issue. Here Read Entire Entry

A recent knowledge base article was added on the HP Support site for LoadRunner 9.51. KM755736 now states:
“Yes, LR 951 supports Citrix client 11.0. However, please make sure the registry patch is applied after this citrix client installation.”
The patch adds a couple of keys to registry;
