LoadRunner Best Practices
Posted on Apr, 2019 by Tony Gartrell
Fifteen years ago, I had my first Mercury consulting engagement, working on a team with two other consultants. The first thing I did was start on a very basic scripting standards document, among other very important and helpful documents/tools that I continue to use to this day. Over the years I have tweaked and improved my standards document. It also became the first document I would pull out on an engagement; there was some importance to it. I sent a copy to Scott Moore and over the years he too would tweak and improve upon it. Finally, he came up with the brilliant idea to share and get feedback from others in the LoadRunner community; Jay Roessler, Albert Wang, Ron Sercely, and of course Mr. James Pulley. So, after fifteen years in the making this is the “official” LoadRunner Best Practices for Scripting, Testing, Analysis, and Organization.
